Consultation has concluded

The City’s Development Control Plan (Coffs Harbour DCP 2015) contains guidance for the design and assessment of development.

We are seeking community feedback on the DCP Amendment to Part G4 Coffs Harbour Jetty Business Precinct.

The DCP amendment is to ensure that future development is fit for purpose and will align with the Coffs Jetty Strip Structure Plan (Coffs Jetty Strip Plan) which was endorsed by Council at its ordinary meeting of 26 November 2020. The Coffs Jetty Strip Plan provides a vision and direction for the future development of the Jetty Strip area along Harbour Drive and incorporates pedestrian movements and suggestions for cycle connectivity through the site.

The DCP amendment is supported by a draft Coffs Harbour Jetty Contributions Plan will provide part funding (25.5%) for stages 1, 1A and 2 of the Coffs Jetty Strip Plan. The plan includes two catchment areas being the Jetty Precinct and an LGA Wide precinct.

The City regularly reviews and updates its DCP and Contributions Plans to ensure that it performs appropriately and to provide additional guidance where needed or to address changes in legislation or errors.
