CONTRIBUTIONS PLAN REVIEW - PARK BEACH AREA
At the Council meeting held on the 23 April 2020, Council endorsed the placement of the revised draft Contributions Plan on public exhibition for a period of 28 days. Submissions were invited as part of the community engagement process. The public exhibition closed on the 27 May 2020. Council staff considered all submissions, which resulted in a subsequent report and amended (draft) Contributions Plan being presented to the Council on the 23 July 2020.
At the Council meeting held on the 23 July 2020 the amended draft Park Beach Area Contributions Plan was endorsed with an additional public exhibition period of 42 days. The public exhibition period will open from the 27 July and close on the 6 September 2020
Regular reviews of Contribution Plans are essential to ensure they remain financially consistent for the delivery of planned infrastructure works within the Coffs Harbour Local Government Area (LGA). Necessary changes to the works schedules are contained within the reviewed Contributions Plan and are essential to ensure the plan remains consistent with project costings, strategies, population forecasts and objectives.
Please refer to the Document Library - Developer Contribution comparison of rates for Park Beach Area. This provides a comparison between the current Contributions rates (includes Consumer Price Indexation) and the proposed Contributions rates being exhibited.
All submissions received will be provided to Council and the submissions will assist Council with it's determination. Please refer to the key dates section of this engagement, which will support communications going forward.
