Consultation has concluded

The Draft 2017-2021 Delivery Program (Year Two) is on public exhibition from Monday 30 April to Monday 28 May 2018.

On 26 April 2018, Council adopted its Draft 2017-2021 Delivery Program (Year 2) for public exhibition. The documents include the Draft 2018/19 Operational Plan, the Draft 2018-2021 Delivery Program Budgets and the Draft 2018/19 Fees and Charges.

  1. The Draft 2017-2021 Delivery Program (Year 2) sets out Council’s proposed course of action over the next three years to help achieve the objectives identified in the MyCoffs Community Strategic Plan.

  2. The Draft 2018/19 Operational Plan details the works and services that Council will undertake during the coming year.

Public Exhibition.

The draft documents were placed on public exhibition from Monday 30 April until Monday 28 May 2018. The exhibition period was promoted in the local media and the community was encouraged to provide feedback.

All community submissions were considered by Council in the finalisation of the Delivery Program, Operational Plan, Budgets and Fees and Charges. The revised documents were adopted at the Council meeting of 28 June 2018. They can be viewed HERE.

    In order for Council to consider electronic submissions each submission must:
    a) contain legitimate contact details;
    b) be received by Council during the submission period; and
    c) be correctly or ‘properly’ made to include the proposal title and reasons for the submission.

    Submissions which do not satisfy the above criteria may not be considered. Further details can be found in Council's Submission Policy.

    Council is committed to openness and transparency in its decision making processes.  The Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 requires Council to provide public access to information held unless there are overriding public interest considerations against disclosure.  Any submissions received will be made publicly available unless the writer can demonstrate that the release of part or all of the information would not be in the public interest.  However, Council would be obliged to release information as required by court order or other specific law.
