Consultation has concluded

The draft Youth Strategy outlines Council's role is helping to support young people who call the Coffs Coast home.

The draft strategy aligns to the themes and outcomes in the community’s MyCoffs CSP 2032 and is based by twelve key areas identified in the Youth Issues and Options Paper.

  • Movement and connectivity
  • Employment and education
  • Housing and homelessness
  • Spaces and places
  • Entertainment, events, and things to do
  • Personal and community safety
  • Youth voice, engagement and inclusion
  • Attraction and retention of young people
  • Health
  • Disadvantage
  • Council workforce diversity
  • Strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation .

The community will have from Monday 18 June 2022 until Monday 15 August to review the draft strategy and provide input. Your input will help shape the final strategy.

The draft strategy can be viewed in the Document Library. Once adopted, the strategy will be published on Council's website.
