The City is seeking community feedback on a planning proposal to remove clause 4.1B of the Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan 2015 (LEP 2015) that requires development of dual occupancies in Zone R2 Low Density Residential to be carried out on lots that are at least 800 square metres in area.

The planning proposal is supported by an amendment to the City's Development Control Plan 2015 (DCP 2015) to introduce development controls for dual occupancies to ensure design quality and residential amenity while maintaining the established character of Zone R2 Low Density Residential.
