Consultation has concluded

Fences come down for playground use from Tuesday, December 22!

Woolgoolga Lakeside Reserve is being upgraded through a range of ongoing works to provide improved facilities for the community, while restoring and protecting the banks of the lake.

Coffs Harbour City Council has partnered with a group of local volunteers and interested members of the community to develop a masterplan to guide the enhancements of the site and environs. As a result of initial community meetings, community members formed the Woolgoolga Lakeside Working Group.

Masterplan works completed to date include a new playground, new amenities and a canoe launching ramp.

The most recent works involve bank stabilisation and revegetation works, which were financed by the NSW Government, through a My Community Grant.

Woolgoolga Lakeside Working Group has partnered with Council and contractors to deliver the $53,770 project - please refer to the Photos section of this web page.

The Working Group will continue to assist Council with design input for future works at the site as funding becomes available. The next stages of improvements include proposals for reconfiguration of the parking and traffic arrangements, pathways and other works.
