MyCoffs 2035 Draft Community Strategic Plan
We recently asked the community to help prioritise the objectives for the draft MyCoffs 2035 Community Strategic Plan (the MyCoffs Plan) – the community’s plan for the future of Coffs Harbour. Now’s your chance to provide final feedback before the MyCoffs Plan is adopted by Council.
About the MyCoffs Plan
MyCoffs 2035 has been developed by City of Coffs Harbour on behalf of the community, setting out the long-term vision for Coffs Harbour to be Connected, Sustainable, and Thriving.
As a top-level strategic guide, the MyCoffs Plan outlines the objectives that will guide the City’s policies, programs, and services – across four key themes:
Community Wellbeing
Community Prosperity
A Place for Community
Sustainable Community Leadership
The MyCoffs Plan will help guide the City, as well as local efforts of the Australian and NSW governments and other stakeholders such as not-for-profit organisations, businesses, and the broader community.
Originally developed in 2009 in collaboration with our community, the MyCoffs Plan was reviewed in 2016 and 2022. We checked in with the community again this year, and 259 community members identified their current priorities to ensure the MyCoffs Plan continues to reflect the community’s aspirations.
Once adopted, the MyCoffs Plan will be our up to date 10-year road map for achieving the community’s vision.

Next steps
Once the public exhibition closes, City staff will review all submissions and prepare a report on the outcomes for Council’s consideration. Some of the initiatives outlined in the MyCoffs Plan are City’s responsibility to deliver, while others will require collaboration with the community, local stakeholders, and the Australian and NSW governments.
Let’s continue working together to bring our vision for a Connected, Sustainable, and Thriving Coffs Harbour to life.
