Consultation has concluded

The consultation phase has now closed, and all feedback will be taken into consideration.

The City is seeking community feedback on a planning proposal to rezone land within 167 Brewers Road, Nana Glen from Zone RU2 Rural Landscape to Zone R5 Large Lot Residential and Zone C2 Environmental Conservation.

The proposal will enable future use of the land for large lot residential purposes. Specifically, the planning proposal will:

  • Amend the Land Zoning Map to facilitate large lot residential and environmental conservation land.
  • Amend the Lot Size Map (Sheet LSZ_005A) to reduce the minimum lot size provision for the land proposed for large lot residential zoning.
  • Amend the Terrestrial Biodiversity Map (Sheet CL2_005A) to include an additional area of terrestrial biodiversity.

Amendments to Coffs Harbour Development Control Plan (DCP) 2015 are also proposed to align with the land use zoning changes. These amendments relate to front, side, and rear building setback controls, and the preservation of vegetation map.
