The City of Coffs Harbour is seeking community feedback on a planning proposal to rezone land at 39-39A Strouds Road, Bonville from Zone RU2 Rural Landscape to Zone R5 Large Lot Residential.

The proposal will enable future use of the land for large lot residential purposes.

Proposed amendments to Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan 2013 will:

  • Amend the spatial Land Zoning Map, as it relates to Lot 1 DP 416381, 39-39A Strouds Road, Bonville, from Zone RU2 Rural Landscape to Zone R5 Large Lot Residential.
  • Amend the Coffs Harbour Lot Size Map (Sheet LSZ_005B), as it relates to Lot 1 DP 416381, 39-39A Strouds Road, Bonville, from a minimum lot size provision AB 40 ha to X1 5,000 m2.

Changes to the mapped front, side, and rear building setback controls are also proposed, as a consequence of the rezoning of the land. All mapping associated with the planning proposal and the amended setback controls can be viewed HERE.
