Consultation has concluded

Following the completion of the public exhibition period associated with Planning Proposal PP_2019_COFFS_001_00, Council, at its Ordinary meeting of 28 May 2020, resolved to endorse and finalise the planning proposal. The planning proposal amends the zoning of the land under Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan 2013 to allow low-density residential development, as well as tourist residential development to occur on the land. The planning proposal informs Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan 2013 - Amendment No . 22 (7 Tasman Street Corindi Beach), which is the Environmental Planning Instrument that rezones the subject land.

On 9 July 2020, Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan 2013 - Amendment No. 22 (7 Tasman Street Corindi Beach), was made under delegated authority by Coffs Harbour City Council pursuant to Section 3.36 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979. On 17 July 2020, Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan 2013 - Amendment No. 22 (7 Tasman Street Corindi Beach) was published on the NSW Government Legislation website (2020, No 417), and is in effect from that date.

Council also resolved to approve Coffs Harbour Development Control Plan (DCP) 2015 - Amendment Number 12 (7 Tasman Street Corindi Beach) comprising DCP mapping amendments that reflect the intent of the planning proposal. In accordance with Part 3, Division 3 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000, the DCP amendments will come into effect upon public notice of Council’s decision.
