Consultation has concluded

Council at its Ordinary meeting of 25 February 2021, resolved to initiate an amendment to Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan (LEP) 2013 to reduce the minimum subdivision lot size that applies to 1555 Bucca Road, Nana Glen and to seek a Gateway determination from the Minister for Planning and Public Spaces to allow it to be publicly exhibited. The objective and intended outcomes of the proposed LEP amendment are to reduce the minimum lot size that applies to the land from two hectares to one hectare in order to allow a two-lot large lot residential subdivision to occur on the land.

On 18 March 2021, the Minister for Planning and Public Spaces, determined pursuant to section 3.34(2) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 that the proposed LEP amendment can proceed and authorised Coffs Harbour City Council to exercise its delegation to make the Plan. In accordance with the Minister’s determination and Council’s resolution, Planning Proposal PP-2021-2434 was publicly exhibited from Wednesday, 7 April 2021 to close of business on Wednesday, 21 April 2021. The exhibition period has now closed and the submissions received during the exhibition period will be reported to Council in the near future.
