Consultation has concluded

Council has received a request to amend Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan (LEP) 2013 to permit the storage and hire of shipping containers on Lot 13, DP 1109077, Hulberts Road, Toormina (with development consent). At its Ordinary meeting of 24 June 2021, Council resolved to proceed with a planning proposal for this matter and to seek a Gateway determination from the Minister for Planning and Public Spaces to allow the planning proposal to be publicly exhibited. The proposal is for an amendment to Schedule 1 (Additional permitted uses) of Coffs Harbour LEP 2013 to permit the use on the site (with development consent).

In accordance with the Minister’s determination and Council’s resolution, Planning Proposal PP-2021-4198 will be publicly exhibited from Wednesday, 18 August 2021 to close of business on Wednesday, 15 September 2021.
