Consultation has concluded

Following the conclusion of an initial public exhibition of Planning Proposal PP_2018_COFFS_003_00, Council, at its Ordinary meeting of 9 May 2019 resolved to seek an alteration to the Gateway Determination from the Minister of Planning to allow a revised Planning Proposal to be publicly exhibited. The Planning Proposal has been revised to include additional land within the Coffs Harbour Central Business District which would be subject to amended height and built form controls under Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan (LEP) 2013. Council also resolved to publicly exhibit a revised Draft Coffs Harbour Development Control Plan (DCP) 2015 - Amendment Number 11 (CBD Height Review) concurrently with the associated Planning Proposal.

On the 27 May 2019, the Minister for Planning and Public Spaces issued an Alteration to the Gateway Determination and in accordance with the Minister’s determination and Council’s resolution, the revised Planning Proposal and associated revised draft DCP amendments are now publicly available for community consultation.

The exhibition period is from Wednesday, 3 July 2019 to close of business on Wednesday 31 July 2019. The revised Planning Proposal, draft DCP Amendment and all related information can be viewed in the document library on this web page. The draft DCP Amendment can also be viewed electronically HERE, and the amended front setback maps can be viewed in Council's online mapping tool HERE.
