The City is currently reviewing and updating a number of S7.11 Contributions Plans to create a consistent approach to Local Infrastructure Contributions across the LGA to ensure that we are able to meet our obligations under the plans and the infrastructure demands of future growth.

This allows the City to collect contributions from developers for new developments, which supports our growing population:

  • parks, community facilities, cycle ways and foot paths,
  • roads, stormwater drainage and traffic management facilities.

A few examples of community infrastructure that has been delivered across the region with the support of contributions are:

Contribution plans recently on exhibition

At it's meeting held on Thursday 23 February 2024 Council adopted the Coffs Harbour Administration, Road Network, Open Space and Surf Rescue Plans 2024. These plans came into effect on Monday 126 February and replacec the previous version of the plans from 2019. The adopted plan can be reviewed on the City's contributions webpage.

At it's meeting held on Thursday 8 February 2024 Council adopted the Coffs Harbour City Centre Car Parking Contributions Plan 2024. This plan came into effect on Monday 12 February and replaces the previous version plan from 2019. The adopted plan can be reviewed on the City's contributions webpage.
