We invite YOUR feedback to help create a new shared path for walking and cycling through West Coffs - an important part of improving active transport in our community.

Project overview

The West Coffs Shared Path will connect 12,000 people to the Coffs Harbour City Centre, schools, parks, businesses and more - making it easier and safer for residents and visitors to walk or ride in the area. The path system is largely off-road, using the network of open space, bushland and creek reserves in West Coffs, aided by safety enhancements including new lighting and signage. It will link to the Coffs Creek Walk and Cycleway, offering a scenic and safe route for commuting, recreation, and getting around.

This project is proudly funded by the NSW Government Get NSW Active program.

Have your say

We’ve developed a concept route, and now it’s your turn to share your ideas, concerns, and suggestions. Your feedback will help shape the design!

What We Want to Know

  1. Do you support the proposed route for the shared path?

  1. What are the biggest challenges you face when walking or cycling in West Coffs?

  1. Are there any opportunities or changes we’ve missed?

  1. How can we improve access into the City Centre?

How to Get Involved

You can share your thoughts by:

  1. Share your feedback online - survey opens Friday 7 February.

  1. Dropping your feedback on the interactive map

  1. Attending a community drop-in session to speak with our project staff at either of the following times:
    11am – 1pm, Thursday 20 February
    3:30pm – 5:30pm, Wednesday 26 February
Location: 'Business@Yarrila' Room, Level 1, Yarrila Place, 27 Gordon Street, Coffs Harbour.

Feedback closes Sunday, March 2, 2025.

What Happens Next

Once we’ve gathered your input, we’ll refine the concept and move into the detailed design phase of the project. The final plan is due to be ready by late 2025. This process will also help us secure construction funding to bring the shared path to life in stages, so we can get it built as soon as possible.
