Consultation has concluded

Public Exhibition has concluded.

The City was seeking community feedback on a planning proposal to rezone land at 9-9A and 148-158 Gaudrons Road, Sapphire Beach from Zone RU2 Rural Landscape to Zone R5 Large Lot Residential.

The proposal will enable future use of the land for large lot residential purposes.

The planning proposal also proposes to reduce the minimum lot size from 40 hectares to 6000 mand 1 hectare respectively.

Changes to the mapped front, side and rear building setback controls are also proposed, as a consequence of the rezoning of the land.

Next steps

A further Council report summarising submissions received will be tabled following this public exhibition process.

All submissions will be considered by the City in finalising the planning proposal.
