Consultation has concluded

At its Ordinary meeting of 25 March 2021, Council resolved to endorse and initiate a (proponent-led) planning proposal over 288-294 Coramba Road, Coffs Harbour and to seek a Gateway determination for the planning proposal from the Minister for Planning and Public Spaces to allow it to be publicly exhibited. The planning proposal seeks to amend the zoning of the land for land zoned E2 Environmental Conservation with negligible environmental values, and replace it with land zoned R2 Low Density Residential under Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan 2013. Council also resolved to publicly exhibit Draft Coffs Harbour Development Control Plan

Council also resolved to publicly exhibit Draft Coffs Harbour Development Control Plan (DCP) 2015 - Amendment Number 22 (288-294 Coramba Road Coffs Harbour) involving DCP mapping amendments, concurrently with the associated planning proposal.

On the 7 May 2021, the Minister for Planning and Public Spaces issued a Gateway determination for Planning Proposal PP-2021-2954. In accordance with the Minister’s determination and Council’s resolution, the planning proposal and associated draft DCP mapping amendments are now publicly available for community consultation.

The exhibition period is from Wednesday, 26 May 2021 to close of business on Friday, 25 June 2021. The planning proposal, the draft DCP mapping amendments and all related information can be viewed in the document library on this web page.
