Draft Amendment - Coffs Harbour DCP 2015 - Performance Review No 1

Consultation has concluded

Coffs Harbour Development Control Plan 2015 ('DCP 2015') came into force on 29 September 2015 and gives effect to Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan 2013 ('LEP 2013'). This draft DCP Amendment - Performance Review No 1 is the first performance ('housekeeping') review of DCP 2015 since it came into force.

On 9 November 2017 Council endorsed amendments to DCP 2015 to make it clearer and easier to use. The Council report can be viewed in the document library. The proposed amendments relate to the following three topics:

  • Biodiversity provisions;
  • DCP maps; and
  • other minor housekeeping amendments.

The exhibition of draft DCP Amendment - Performance Review No 1 is closed and the project is completed.

Pursuant to Part 3, Division 3 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000, the amendments to Coffs Harbour DCP 2015 will come into effect on Wednesday 22 November 2017, excluding DCP map amendments relating to Deferred Areas; Korora Large Lot Residential; and Housekeeping Review Number 2, which will come into effect upon the making of each relevant Local Environmental Plan.

    In order for Council to consider electronic submissions each submission must:
    a) contain legitimate contact details;
    b) be received by Council during the submission period; and
    c) be correctly or ‘properly’ made to include the proposal title and reasons for the submission.

    Council is committed to openness and transparency in its decision making processes.  The Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 requires Council to provide public access to information held unless there are overriding public interest considerations against disclosure.  Any submissions received will be made publicly available unless the writer can demonstrate that the release of part or all of the information would not be in the public interest.  However, Council would be obliged to release information as required by court order or other specific law.
