Council announces support for community's preferred location for new amenities building.
In a Have Your Say survey on this page, the Sawtell community voted 39-1 in favour of locating a new amenities building at the southern (beach) car park, following a survey which presented three site options that were compliant in terms of community safety, accessibility and environmental legislation. Council has listened to the community concerns and aspirations and is revising original planning and design to accommodate the amenities in the community's preferred location.
