✅ Thank You for Your Feedback – Public Exhibition Closed on 27 March 2026. 
The public exhibition period for this project has now closed. No public submissions, by way of objection, were received on DCP Amendment No. 27 - Housekeeping No. 6. Post-exhibition administrative edits were undertaken to correct text errors, improve sentence structure and improve diagrams for clarity.

In accordance with CPC26/006 (resolution number 2026/45) the Coffs Harbour Development Control Plan 2015 - Amendment No. 27 (Housekeeping No. 6), under Part 2, Division 2 was made on 10 April 2026, being the day the notice was published on the Council's website.   


We are seeking feedback on a routine housekeeping amendment to the adopted Coffs Harbour Development Control Plan 2015 to support its ongoing effective implementation. 

The City’s Development Control Plan (Coffs Harbour DCP 2015) contains guidance for the design and assessment of development.

We are seeking community feedback on the DCP Amendment to ensure that it remains up to date and facilitates positive development and growth outcomes for the Coffs Harbour Local Government Area.

Amendments will include:

  • Updates to the built form and design controls,
  • Updates to the landscaping and streetscape controls,
  • Updates to the environmental and biodiversity controls,
  • Amendments to the infrastructure, parking and access controls, and
  • Miscellaneous housekeeping amendments

The City regularly reviews and updates its DCP to ensure that it performs appropriately and to provide additional guidance where needed or to address changes in legislation and errors.
