Consultation has concluded

The Live and Local project is a joint initiative to be delivered by Council in partnership with the Live Music Office and APRA AMCOS from mid-2021 until mid-2022.

Live and Local is a capacity-building project which aims to increase participation in the local live music scene and explore ways to deliver live music activities in Coffs Harbour that are innovative, flexible and sustainable. The project aims to stimulate employment opportunities for musicians, particularly young, diverse and emerging, while supporting economic activities and developing cultural spaces for audiences.

The project has seen the creation of the Coffs Live and Local Working Group. The group is facilitated by Council and is made up of the local music community and groups who will work together to support the growth of Coffs’ live music scene and help with conducting a Live Music Census.
