Coffs Harbour Development Control Plan Amendment No. 43
& Draft Contributions Plan - North Boambee Valley West

Coffs Harbour Development Control Plan (DCP) 2015 contains guidance for the design and assessment of development. The City regularly reviews and updates its DCP to ensure that it performs appropriately and to provide additional guidance where needed or to address changes in legislation.

The City is seeking community feedback on a draft amendment to Part G - Special Area Controls - G8A North Boambee Valley West of the DCP. Changes are proposed to ensure the North Boambee Valley West Masterplan is fit for purpose and aligns with the Coffs Harbour Public Realm Strategy and the Coffs Harbour Movement and Place (Transport) Strategy.

The DCP amendment is supported by a draft amendment to the North Boambee Valley West Contributions Plan. Regular reviews of contribution plans are essential to ensure they remain financially viable and align with the City's planning controls for the delivery of planned infrastructure within the Coffs Harbour Local Government Area.

The public exhibition period for this project was from Monday 10 April 2025m to Friday 16 May 2025.

Pursuant to Part 2, Division 2 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2021, Coffs Harbour Development Control Plan 2015 - Amendment Number 43 (North Boambee Valley West) is in effect from Monday 23 June 2025.

Pursuant to Part 9, Division 3 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2021, North Boambee Valley West Contributions Plan is in effect from Monday 23 June 2025.
