We’re working on the Draft Water Efficiency Strategic Plan – and we want to hear from you!

Water plays an important role in our homes, businesses and communities.

Your ideas can help shape how we use water wisely and deliver water efficiency programs across our region in the years ahead.

What is the Draft Water Efficiency Strategic Plan about?

The Draft Water Efficiency Strategic Plan sets out how we’ll work with our communities across the Coffs Harbour and Clarence Valley region to use water wisely over the next five years (2026–2031).

The strategic plan is reviewed every five years and helps guide the development of practical water-saving programs and initiatives across the region. We’ve already sought input from the Water Efficiency Working Group, and now we’d like to hear from the wider community before the strategic plan is finalised.

Your feedback will help shape the final plan and ensure it reflects local priorities and needs. We’ll continue to keep the community informed as actions are rolled out and progress is made over the life of the plan.

How you can Have Your Say

You’re invited to take a look at the Draft Water Efficiency Strategic Plan, along with a Summary and FAQs to help you understand what’s proposed.
You can share your feedback by:

  • Emailing us at: coffs.council@chcc.nsw.gov.au

  • Posting your feedback to: Locked Bag 155, Coffs Harbour NSW 2450

Support and accessible options are available. If you need help to review the strategic plan or provide feedback, please contact the City.

📅 Submissions close on Monday 20 July 2026.

What Happens Next

After the exhibition wraps up, we’ll go through all the feedback and make any necessary changes. The final version will then go to Council for consideration of endorsement. Your feedback will help make sure the strategic plan reflects what’s important to our community.
