Consultation has concluded
At its Ordinary meeting of 28 February 2019, Council resolved to endorse and initiate a (proponent-led) planning proposal over 7 Tasman Street Corindi Beach. The planning proposal seeks to amend the zoning of the land under Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan 2013 to allow low density residential development, as well as tourist residential development to occur on the land. Council also resolved to seek a Gateway determination for the planning proposal from the Minister for Planning and Public Spaces to allow it to be publicly exhibited. Council also resolved to publicly exhibit Draft Coffs Harbour Development Control Plan (DCP) 2015 - Amendment Number 12 (7 Tasman Street Corindi Beach) involving DCP mapping amendmentsconcurrently with the associated planning proposal.
On the 14 August 2019, the Minister for Planning and Public Spaces issued a Gateway determination for Planning Proposal PP_2019_COFFS_001_00. In accordance with the Minister’s determination and Council’s resolution, the planning proposal and associated draft DCP mapping amendments are now publicly available for community consultation.
The exhibition period is from Wednesday, January 29 2020 to close of business on Wednesday, 26 February 2020. The planning proposal and all related information can be viewed in the document library on this web page. The draft DCP mapping amendments can be viewed electronically HERE.
