As the official authority for naming local roads, we’re seeking your input on new road name suggestions currently under public exhibition.

Developers often submit road naming applications when creating new residential or commercial estates. Occasionally, individuals may also request names for currently unnamed lanes to help with property identification and emergency services access.

All proposed names must follow the NSW Government’s Address Policy and User Manual. You can download a copy from the Document Library on this page. Please note: road names cannot reference living individuals.
