The City's Development Control Plan (Coffs Harbour DCP 2015) contains guidance for the design and assessment of development.
The City regularly reviews and updates its DCP to ensure that it performs appropriately and to provide additional guidance where needed or to address changes in legislation and errors.
The City is seeking community feedback on this DCP amendment to update Part G Special Area Controls - G11 South Coffs. South Coffs is currently experiencing staged low density development under the guidance of the existing controls contained in Coffs Harbour DCP, however as this development progresses, changes have been identified as being necessary to improve the efficiency of the DCP controls.
The DCP amendment is supported by an amended South Coffs Contributions Plan. Regular reviews of contributions plans are essential to ensure they remain financially viable and align with current City planning controls for the delivery of planned infrastructure within the Coffs Harbour LGA.
